I describe my approach as an integrative relational coach. This means:

• Drawing on Diverse Theories: My practice is influenced by a range of psychological theories and schools of thought, allowing for flexibility and a tailored approach to your unique needs.
• The Coaching Space as a Microcosm: I utilise the coaching relationship and the session space as a safe environment to explore what is happening in your wider world. This allows us to gain insights into existing patterns and dynamics.
• Focus on Inner Resources:I am particularly drawn to fields such as Gestalt psychology, Psychosynthesis, and Polyvagal theory. These perspectives encourage the use of metaphors, visualisation, and an exploration of your inner landscape, including different aspects of yourself. This allows us to move beyond simply fitting into a situation, towards understanding and expressing your authentic self and highest aspirations. This approach can be profoundly effective in freeing you from stuck, repetitive cycles. We might explore questions like:

• "What am I contributing to this challenging situation?"
• "How is this problem serving as a teacher?"
• "Within this discomfort, what is seeking to emerge?"

Through this work, what may have once felt like an insurmountable problem can transform, ceasing to be a barrier.

We explore your patterns, understand your habitual responses, and discover alternative, more fruitful ways of engaging with your challenges. Our collaboration typically begins with an initial contact, followed by a complimentary discovery session of approximately one hour. This session is an opportunity to:

• Get acquainted and establish a rapport.
• Discuss the reasons for your enquiry and understand your goals.
• Determine if my coaching approach is the right fit for your needs.

If we both feel there is a strong potential for a productive partnership, we will agree upon an initial six sessions. This provides a framework for our work but is not a rigid, contractual commitment. Sessions generally last between 90 minutes and two hours, occurring at intervals of three to four weeks, though this is flexible. Our sessions can be conducted face-to-face, online (via Teams, Zoom, etc.), or by telephone, and can be a blend of these methods.

Following the initial six sessions, we will review your progress, celebrating achievements and assessing whether your objectives have been met. We will then decide together whether to conclude our coaching relationship, continue for further development, or address new areas of focus.
